High doses of biotin consumption (e.g. vitamin B7 or B8, vitamin H, or coenzyme R) should be avoided for at least 72 hours prior to specimen collection for many of our tests. However, SuperGene does not recommend changing or stopping any medications or supplements without first consulting a healthcare provider.
